"Continental law is different from common law just as rationalism differs from empirism or deduction
from induction." - Roscoue Pound
Expert staff
Our staff is carefully selected and includes linguists, lawyers, economists, and certified translators affiliated with Polish courts as well as members of the Polish Society of Court, Legal and Economic Translators. Our experts' track records include cooperation with legal and tax departments of the 'Big Four' firms, state administration, banks and law firms.
We understand that translation of legal language requires more than mere knowledge of literary language and are aware of the fact that legal language reflects its legal system culture. We keep in mind that the translation reader is familiar with legal system other than that of the source language. we seek analogies and, preserving its original contents and meaning, convert the translated document so that it can easily be read and understood on the grounds of the target language legal system culture.
Multilevel quality control
Our recruitment process involves multi-area legal and business translation tests and a thorough screening of a candidate translator's to-day professional efforts. Successful Junior Translators sign a cooperation contract and go through an extensive and time-consuming training process under the supervision of Senior Translators and Project Managers.
Our translation output undergoes a rigid, two-tier quality control. Client-assigned Project Managers ensure consistency in terminology drawing from proprietary, client-specific, custom developed terminology banks, and experienced, native British/American/Canadian/Polish/Spanish/Russian/Chinese/German proofreaders tune up the language so that the document reads naturally and professionally, as if originally crafted in the target language.
Security of legal transactions
Top quality incoming and outgoing international communications are a very powerful tool. If handled efficiently, they will enhance overseas business operations and performance. If handled badly, savings on professional, competent legal translation services can actually cost money in contractual indemnities or unfavorable contractual obligations resulting from failure to understand a contracting party's intentions.
Company image
We strive to work with sophisticated clients who understand that the quality of communication with foreign partners and clients constitutes a vital element of a firm's image and often determines the success or failure in negotiations. Good quality of communication may earn new business contacts, poor quality will certainly not. |
